| Dosage | Tablets: Secondary amenorrhea: abnormal uterine bleeding due to hormonal imbalance in the absence of organic pathology, such as fibroids or uterine cancer: 5-10mg daily from 16th-21st day of the cycle for 5-10 days. Endometriosis: 10mg TID from day one of the cycle for 90 days. Primary and secondary amenorrhoea: 5-10mg daily for 10 days. Menopause: 10mg-20mg daily continuously. Hormone replacement therapy with oestrogen: 5-10mg daily from 16th - 21st day of estrogen therapy. Sterile Aqueous Suspension: Adjunctive therapy and palliative treatment of inoperable, recurrent, and metastatic endometrial or renal carcinoma. Contraceptive Injection: Medroxyprogesterone acetate contraceptive injection is indicated only for the prevention of pregnancy. It is administered at 3-month (13-week) intervals -150mg. |
